Who Is Teaching The Workshop?
It's vitally important to make sure that the people you trust to help you actually know what they are doing. Today, anybody can put up a website, call themselves an "expert" and start taking people's money without any real qualifications.
There are way too many phony "experts" today who can't actually help others to get results, from those who are talented but just can't teach, all the way down to the spammers, scammers and theives who are just flat out lying, cheating and stealing.
You must know who to trust, and that can only come from the results they can get for themselves AND the results they can consistently help others get for themselves... and you must be able to independently verify these results by talking to the people themselves whenever possible.
My name is Sterling Valentine, and I've been making a full-time living online since 2006... that means my list has been my main source of income since I started.
I'm constantly learning, applying and examining new techniques from my own experience,as well as from my students, other expert listbuilders, and owners of successful traffic exchanges, safelists, and viral listbuilding sites.
I've delivered training in the US and UK, for organizations and events including the World Internet Summit, JV Alert, and for The Learning Annex in New York.
Most importantly, we recently launched ListLaser.com, which has added thousands of members in the past few months who are using it to build their lists... many for the very first time after years of struggling and failing. This has given me a huge data set to analyze in a short period of time, and I'm ready to share what is working for others with you.
But, at the end of the day, it's not about me...
The only thing you can really judge an expert on is the results of his successful students, and you'll be able to meet them at this event and speak with them personally, as well as some other fantastic internet marketing experts.
Wait... A FREE Event? What's The Catch?
I know you're probably expecting a sales pitch, but honestly... there will be nothing to buy, so leave your money at home.
No hidden charges, upsell, cross sells, bumps, backends, MLM pitches, time share condo commercials, summer vacation home movies or anything. Not even encyclopedias! ;-)
You *are* responsible for your own meals, parking, etc.
The reason why we're getting together is to celebrate the success of our three Listbuilding Challenge winners, to do the workshop, and to network. We'll be live-streaming some of our workshop to our members, and we have room for some local marketers to join us as well.
The truth is that each of us can trace our successes back to a pivotal relationship or chance encounter that made all the difference.
Now we all really just want to create the same opportunities that were given to us and "pay it forward."
I believe that you can't keep what you've got unless you give it away, so this event is just a small way of showing gratitude to all the cool people who've helped me along the way.
OK, I Hate To Have To Say This, But...
Even though I'm not charging admission, I still expect anyone who attends to be on their best behavior, so please respect your fellow attendees and don't pitch, "corner" or hassle anyone.
Seriously... some people just don't realize it when they are making other people uncomfortable, so as much as I hate to have to bring this up, it's important.
I really want to to create a safe, fun atmosphere where everyone can learn and network, but I'm not going to babysit anyone, either.
If you don't know how to behave in public, if you're not polite, or if you generally get on everybody's nerves wherever you go, then please don't come.
I'm sure it'll be a great event and everyone will act professionally, but I will have anyone disruptive removed from the event by hotel security, out of respect for all of the attendees.
(Sorry for the hardcore disclaimer, but after 6 years of attending and speaking at events all over the country... well, you just wouldn't believe some of the things I've seen.)
Thanks in advance for helping me give back a little to a community that has been so good to me.
Here's What To Do If You're Coming:
HOTEL INFORMATION WILL ONLY BE PROVIDED TO THOSE WHO REGISTER.
I only have a small meeting room (35 people), so if you're going to come, please RSVP as soon as possible.
I can't guarantee there will be enough room if too many people show up because most of the banquet rooms are reserved for the holidays, so it's first-come, first-served... no exceptions.
That means please don't say you're coming unless you're absolutely sure, or you could cause someone else to miss out.
Leave your phone number (optional) if you end up on the waiting list and would like to be notified of any last minute openings due to cancellations.
Please register here using your full name, so we can make you one of those corny "Hi, My Name Is..." badges. ;-)
You'll get an email confirming your registration, or letting you know you're on the waiting list in case somebody cancels.
SEATING IS LIMITED TO 35 ATTENDEES!
